Working of circuit
Main device of this circuit is IC555 which is IC timer from Schematics when S1 close circuit T1 will conduct current .Pin 2 and pin 6 of IC555 will have voltage be equivalent to supply now C1 charge via R1
When voltge drop R1 = 2/3 of supply T1 stop conduct current. We can timer by change C1 and R1
